A great way to build or start your internet business is using niche article marketing. If you do not have a website business yet, you will want to target a niche market. With all of the competition online these days, niche marketing makes financial sense.

Niche means a small segment of a particular market. If you are selling cell phones on your website you can either promote cell phones to all people. Or if you want to market to a smaller segment, let us say senior citizens, then your market can be cell phones for those over sixty let us say.

Seniors do not buy cell phones like teens buy cell phones. They will not spend hours text messaging. They probably will not be playing games on their phones. And they might not be using their mobile phones to surf the internet. Seniors in fact might not have a cell phone because they do not know how to use them.

Here is where your niche article marketing comes in play. You can write articles targeted to seniors who are not attuned to the technological age. Those who feel they are not capable of learning how to use modern technology. This is your niche market.

You can write articles on the ease of cell phone use. You can write articles on what cell phone contract are. You can research and write on cell phone companies that provided discounts to those on fixed incomes.

People need a cell phone you can write in your article. There are stories of how people were saved in an emergency because they had their cell phone. Include that in your article. Let the elderly know they need a cell phone because they can have the same happen to them.

Your niche market will read these articles and then visit your website to read more about products they now know they need. You of course have the cell phones they need for sale on your website.

If you do not have these items for sale on your website, all your work is for naught. So make sure your website products and offers match up with your niche market.

The niche segment of course is smaller than the general market. And you will have fewer potential buyers. Teens are not going to read your article and then visit your website because you have large numbers on your cell phone keypad. Teens who know how to text messages in warp speed will not come to your site to read on how to text message.

In the example above, seniors needing a cell phone and accessories will come back to your website. There might not be as many seniors as teens that buy cell phones and accessories, but teens have many resources to buy from. And they will probably defer to the lowest price of the ten or twenty websites they have to choose from.

But because you reached your client base, albeit a smaller number of potential customers, with niche article marketing, that segment is more likely to be loyal to you. They will buy from your site even if your prices are a little higher because you have shown an interest in their specific needs.
